Texinter has been involved in plastics recycling projects for the past 20 years.
Although some of these projects have been concerned with urban and industrial waste, the focus of Texinter's involvement has been on the recovery of plastics used in the manufacture of Polypropylene textiles and, more particularly, in the re-use of the recovered material in related products.
Since Texinter has been involved with the installation of many plants which produce woven Polypropylene bags, the recycling of such bags has always been a priority. The Polypropylene obtained from such bags can be converted into injection moulded products, strapping tapes, baler twine, tubes and hoses, profiles, and a wide variety of other products.
